Interior Design Trend is a USA-focused interior design resource founded and run by Arch Joy an interior design professional with hands-on 10+ experience across residential homes and commercial spaces throughout the United States.
This site exists because finding honest, practical design information is harder than it should be. Most interior design content online is either pure visual inspiration with no actionable guidance, or it’s written in industry language that assumes the reader already knows what they’re doing. Homeowners planning a renovation, business owners designing a dental office or retail space, and renters trying to make a small apartment actually work — none of these people are well-served by content that looks beautiful but doesn’t answer their questions.
Interior Design Trend was built to fill that gap.

Arch Joy is an interior design professional with more than 10 years of experience working on residential and commercial design projects across the USA. Her background spans bedroom and living room redesigns for private homeowners, kitchen renovations, home office planning, and commercial interiors including dental practices, medical clinics, and professional offices.
What separates a well-designed space from a poorly designed one isn’t always what’s obvious in photos. It’s in the decisions that don’t photograph — the storage that’s actually sufficient, the lighting that works at 10pm not just at noon, the layout that supports how people move through a room during a real workday. Arch Joy’s approach to design, and to the writing on this site, comes from that perspective: spaces are for the people who use them every day, not for the people who might photograph them.
Every guide on this site is written or reviewed by Arch Joy before publication. Cost figures are drawn from current US market data. Design advice is grounded in what actually works in practice, not just what’s trending on social media this season.

Interior Design Trend publishes detailed, research-backed guides across two main areas:
Residential design covers every major room in the home bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, dining areas, and home offices. Our guides address real questions: what materials hold up in a high-traffic kitchen, what layout works in a 250 sq ft bedroom, when does hiring a professional designer make financial sense versus managing the project yourself.
Commercial design covers dental offices, medical clinics, retail spaces, and professional workplaces. These spaces have different requirements than residential interiors — compliance standards, workflow considerations, patient and customer experience psychology — and our guides address those specifics directly rather than applying residential thinking to commercial problems.
