What We Can Help With
Design questions — If you’ve read one of our guides and have a follow-up question, or if you’re trying to figure out how our general advice applies to your specific situation, send us your question. We can’t provide full design consultations by email, but we can often point you in the right direction or suggest which of our guides addresses your question most directly.
Cost and budgeting questions — We publish cost data for designer fees, renovation budgets, and materials regularly, but US market prices vary significantly by city and change over time. If you have a specific cost question — what should a kitchen remodel cost in Phoenix in 2026, what’s a reasonable hourly rate for an interior designer in Seattle — we’ll give you our honest read based on current market information.
Content corrections — If you’ve spotted an error, an outdated figure, or advice in one of our articles that you believe is incorrect, please tell us. Include the URL of the article and the specific passage you’re flagging. We take corrections seriously and address them promptly. Accurate information matters more to us than protecting content we’ve already published.

What We Don’t Offer
We are an informational resource, not a design agency. We don’t provide full design consultations, project management, or referrals to specific contractors or designers in exchange for compensation. If you’re looking for a designer to hire for your project, we’re happy to share what questions to ask when evaluating candidates in your market — but we won’t recommend specific firms commercially.
We also don’t accept guest posts, sponsored content, or paid link placements. Our editorial content reflects our independent judgment, and we don’t compromise that for commercial arrangements.
